
Clifford E. Kress was named Senior Vice President, Computed Tomography for MEDRAD, INC. in 2004. He currently oversees all new product development, marketing, and regulatory activities for MEDRAD's largest and fastest growing business unit. MEDRAD's CT product portfolio includes three product lines of vascular injection systems and related disposable products. MEDRAD's CT sales reached $221 million in 2005 achieving a 26% growth rate.
Cliff has been a Senior Vice President for MEDRAD since 1998. He has been a leading developer of MEDRAD's Marketing capability for over 20 years with particular emphasis on strategic planning, brand management and new product development. Since he joined MEDRAD in 1983, total revenue has increased from $17 million to over $411 million.
Prior to being named Senior Vice President for the CT Business Unit, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing from 2000 to 2003 and Vice President of Marketing from 1994 to 2000. Prior to 1994, he held various marketing management positions at MEDRAD.
Before joining MEDRAD, Cliff's experience included five years in the field of Orthopedic Surgery. He worked in the areas of product development and product management for both capital equipment and disposables for Dyonics, Inc. (Smith and Nephew) in Andover, MA from 1979 until 1983.
Cliff received a B.A. in Biology in 1977 from Clark University in Worcester, MA. In 1983, he earned an MBA in Marketing from Bentley College in Waltham, MA. Cliff has also been a frequent lecturer at the Carnegie Mellon University Graduate School of Industrial Administration. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Bradley Center, Pittsburgh, PA and the Board of Advisors for the Pittsburgh Symphony.
